David and Con opened the doors of Express Envelopes in February 1996 with one small offset machine and a big vision.
They recognised an opportunity in the envelope market for a high-quality printer, offering faster turnaround than the large suppliers at that time provided.
This is the foundation behind the name, Express Envelopes. To this day our motto is “Your specialist envelope printer and manufacturer”
In our first year we also installed our first Halm Jet Press and quickly grew to include 4 colour capacity.
In 2000 we started manufacturing Envelopes in Melbourne and in 2011 opened our Warehouse and Printing facility in Sydney.
We now have four overprint presses in Sydney to provide Express fast service to all of NSW & SE QLD
In Victoria we have three Web based and two sheet feed Envelope manufacturing machines with Flexographic inline print capabilities.
These are supported by ten envelope specific Halm Offset Jetpress’ - metal plate high speed overprinting machines able to print 1 to 4 colours. The Halm Jet Press is considered the best in class for envelope printing and our engineers are well versed in the running and maintenance of these machines.
Here at Express Envelopes we are accredited in the essential ISO programmes. We have ISO 9001 for quality, ISO14001 for environmental and AS 4801 for OHS standards.
